My Travel Bucketlist

There are probably hundreds of places I want to go, but for this post, I will refrain from putting all of them. I will divide the list by continent to help make it easier to read. Honestly, there is no particular order for these. If I were given the chance to go to any of these places, I would be ecstatic.

North America:
Banff, AB, Canada - I watched a video on the channel Kara and Nate on Youtube where they camped in a van across Banff and decided that I want to do the same thing. When it snows, it looks like a winter wonderland!
Charleston, SC, USA - I have wanted to go to Charleston ever since my dad had a work conference there when I was in high school. There are so many cool things to see and do here like Rainbow Row, a row of houses painted all different colors.
Maui, HI, USA - I feel like this one needs no explanation. It’s Hawaii! One thing I want to do here is drive the road to Hana. Aside from the fact that it’s almost my name, I want to drive it because there are beautiful waterfalls and other sites to see on the drive.
Washington, D.C., USA - I love history, and D.C. has so many museums with most being free. I want to go specifically to the Smithsonian Exhibit about the first ladies.

South America:
Machu Picchu, Peru - Since I’m minoring in Spanish, I have taken a lot of Spanish classes where Machu Picchu is discussed to some extent. In the spring 2020 semester, I took a history of Spanish-speaking countries class. We watched a video about the site, and it made me want to see it in person!
Buenos Aires, Argentina - There are so many cool things to see here! The city is beautiful, and there is a wonderful atmosphere conveyed in pictures I’ve seen. One cool thing to see would be El Ateneo Gran Splendid, a theatre turned cinema turned bookstore.

Europe:
Spain - I don’t have any particular city or place in Spain that I want to go to. My Spanish classes also contributed to my desire to see the country. It’s a combination of two things I want to do, go to a Spanish-speaking country and go to Europe!
Greece - Another country with no particular city. A tour of the whole country going to Islands and different cities would be the best thing ever.

To be honest, I really just want to go everywhere in Europe. This continent is the main place I want to travel. I would be ecstatic to go anywhere there. My dream trip would be a tour of Europe. There could easily be 100 places on the list for Europe.

Africa:
The Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt - I saw a Youtube video on the channel Flying the Nest where they got to go inside of one of the pyramids. Like with Washington D.C., it’s a very cool historical thing that I’d love to see.
Morocco - Morocco is such a beautiful country! Ever since I was little I have wanted to go here and see all of the sights.
Kenya - In one of my favorite book series, a character goes to live in Kenya. After reading about the country and looking at pictures and things to do there, I want to see it for myself. It would be so cool to go on a safari here.

Asia:
The Maldives - The Maldives are beautiful islands off the coast of India. My favorite travel youtubers Kara and Nate went to the Maldives, and I fell in love! The water is a gorgeous shade of blue, and the resorts there look so fun.
Chiang Mai, Thailand - First of all, I love Tangled. It is one of my favorite Disney movies, and I’ve always wanted to send a floating lantern into the sky. Chaing Mai actually has a floating lantern festival! Ever since I heard about it, it has been on my bucketlist.

Antarctica:
There is no particular place I want to go in Antarctica. I just want to go. I watched a Youtube video, again on Kara and Nate, where they went here with a travel company called Polar Latitudes.
